The Real Talk on Tech
Let’s get down to the brass tacks. We built this lamp to run at a very specific sweet spot: 400V input, 2500W of power, all packed into a 300mm tube. Why does that matter? Because that combination squeezes a ton of heat into a small space. More watts per inch means your temperature climbs faster and you can hold that sweet spot with rock-solid control. But here’s the thing about that kind of power—it comes with responsibility. The fixture and the equipment around it have to be ready to handle the heat. If your cooling and insulation aren’t up to snuff, you’re just asking for trouble. You could fry the electronics nearby. So do yourself a favor and plan that thermal budget before you even think about wiring things up.
What It’s Built From
Inside, we’re using a halogen cycle inside a super-pure quartz tube. It’s what keeps the filament stable and stops that annoying blackening that kills other bulbs. The result? Consistent output, run after run, without the dips. And that quartz? It’s tough. It lets the UV through like a champ and handles the stress of heating up and cooling down without cracking. Then there’s the R7s connector. We chose it for one simple reason: it works. It locks the lamp in tight and carries the current without creating hot spots. It’s a proven, no-fuss design that makes swapping out a lamp on the line a two-minute job. No custom wiring. No head-scratching.

Out on the PCB line, this is the workhorse for curing, drying, and any thermal step where temperature control can’t wobble. When your output is stable, your process stays stable.
